Housing association Catalyst has acquired Epsom-based Rosebery Housing Association, adding 2,700 homes to its portfolio.
Rosebery had been seeking a partner to explore estate regeneration and aims to deliver 2,000 homes in the region over the next decade.
Discussions between the pair launched last August and Rosebery has become a subsidiary of the Catalyst, expanding the portfolio to some 37,000 homes across London and the South East.
Ian McDermott, chief executive of Catalyst, said: “Catalyst has been open to gradual growth opportunities and this partnership fits our philosophy of being able to build more homes in a thoughtful, considered way.”
