Catalyst Capital has placed the Regatta portfolio of assets under offer for around £55m – an 8% yield.
The six assets were formerly controlled by tycoon John de Stefano, but were put up for sale by Nationwide through KPMG in April with a £53.5m price tag.
Catalyst is seeking to compile asset management-intensive opportunities, following a £38.3m purchase of an 18-strong multi-let regional portfolio of mixed-use assets in April.
Administrators were appointed to the De Stefano Property Group and a number of subsidiaries in December 2014, after the value of the assets fell in comparison to the security held against it.
Regatta includes the flagship asset in the De Stefano empire – The Brooks shopping centre in Winchester, Hampshire, which comprises 120,000 sq ft of retail space let to tenants including Primark.
Also included are the prominent mixed-use Market Place Mews development site in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, along with four high-street shops in the town.
CBRE advised the vendor.
