Manchester-based property finance company Catalyst Securities has gone into administration.
KMPG has been appointed administrator of the firm, which operated as an independent provider of bridging finance to private individuals and small property developers.
The company has been winding down its operations over the past two years.
The loans in its loan book are all in default and the company has taken possession of the properties, or is in the process of doing so. All will be marketed for sale.
The portfolio consists of a mixture of commercial, residential and development opportunities in locations across the UK.
