Stockholm-based Catella Property Consultants has acquired UK property investment advisor Skinners which manages around £200m of funds. The firm, whose clients include Cornhill and Merchant Investors, has two partners and two associate partners, who will relocate to Catella’s London Mayfair offices.
Catella has also taken a 60% stake in Dutch company Equity Estate, the property advisor specialising in creating property-based funds with tax breaks. The firm’s two directors are based in Amsterdam.
Meanwhile, Catella has appointed Harry Holmstrom as the London representative of its Finnish subsidiary Catella Huom!. Holmstrom will focus on agency and property management.
