Catesby Estates has submitted the masterplan for a 270-home mixed-use scheme in Whitstable, near Canterbury.
The site, located off the Old Thanet Way, was earmarked for a park-and-ride service in Canterbury City Council’s housing blueprint.
The housing-led mixed-use scheme will provide 270 homes, ranging from one to four-bedroom houses, 30% of which will be affordable.
The masterplan for the 35-acre site also includes a 5,400 sq ft shopping complex, a car park for 200-300 cars, play areas and outdoor sports facilities.
