Catesby Estates is looking for a development partner for its £500m industrial and housing mixed-use scheme in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Newark and Sherwood district council gave consent and agreed a section 106 with Catesby in December for what will be the firm’s largest project.
Plans for the 120-acre scheme include 1.5m sq ft of industrial development, 3,150 homes, a 60-bedroom care home, two primary schools and a medical centre.
Sources said Catesby was looking for a partner to provide equity and development management experience “depending on what they could bring to the table”.
Chief executive Paul Brocklehurst said: “We have had this land for more than 11 years and have taken great care to ensure the scheme will be of overall benefit to the town.
“Now we are moving to the next stage, which will involve planning and delivery. We will look to bring in delivery partners to work with us in the coming months to ensure we can make these plans become reality.”
Brocklehurst hopes to find a partner in time to start on site at the beginning of 2013.
Barton Willmore acted for Catesby on planning.
