Cazenove has lifted its rating for British Land and Hammerson to “outperform”.
The broker believes the two stocks are cheap and offer investors exposure to prime property portfolios.
British Land rose 23.5p to 860.5p and Hammerson 17.5p to 875p. Land Securities was also in demand, ending the day up 35p at 1428p.
