Manchester’s Trafford council has appointed CB Richard Ellis to advise on the regeneration of the city’s industrial capital.
The borough council, with Trafford Economic Alliance, has hired CBRE, development specialists EKOS and consultancies URBED and WSP to draw up a masterplan for the area.
The North West’s regional development agency will fund the 20-year project.
CBRE investment director Nick Mullins said: “Trafford Park is best known as Greater Manchester’s industrial capital.
“This project will look at what we can do to keep industrial and distribution business in the area, while making best use of the area’s fantastic cultural and leisure assets.”
