CBRE has appointed Leah Stearns as its chief financial officer.
Stearns will be based in Dallas and oversee the company’s global finance and accounting organisation, including: tax, treasury, balance sheet management, financial planning and analytics, and investor relations.
She joins from global REIT American Tower, where she has held various financial positions with the company since 2001.
Most recently, Stearns was senior vice president and chief financial officer for the REIT and had responsibility for finance and accounting, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain, operational tax planning and more. She has also been chief executive of American Tower’s EMEA division.
CBRE president and chief executive Bob Sulentic said: “Leah will bring tremendous capabilities to CBRE.
“She is an exceptional executive who has risen rapidly in her career and has had significant responsibilities in financial management, operational leadership and international activities.”
