CBRE has appointed Chris Gow as head of debt and structured finance for Europe.
Gow takes on the role from 1 January. He joined CBRE in 2020 and has been leading the debt and structured finance team in the UK and Ireland since January this year.
In his expanded role, Gow will be responsible for accelerating the growth of CBRE’s debt capabilities across all real estate sectors and geographies in Europe.
Robert-Jan Peters, head of debt and structured finance in the Netherlands, is also taking on extra responsibilities, working with Gow to drive greater collaboration across continental Europe.
Richard Dakin, head of investment banking and debt and structured finance for Europe at CBRE, said: “Chris and Robert-Jan have been instrumental in expanding our debt advisory services over recent years, helping clients across the whole real estate spectrum. Under their leadership we will be able to accelerate our growth plans and ensure, through our capital markets offering, that we are delivering optimal debt or other capital solutions to all of our clients across Europe.”
