CBRE appoints new head of UK occupier

CBRE has appointed Julie Ennis as head of its UK occupier business.

Ennis will be responsible for spearheading CBRE’s occupier strategies to help encourage growth across all aspects of its occupier business in the UK. This will also include expanding occupier insights to its investor clients.

She has more than 25 years of experience in banking and property services. Previously Ennis spent more than 20 years at the Bank of Ireland, where she held numerous leadership positions across the business in sales, product and proposition development, strategy and operations across retail banking, corporate banking and wealth management advisory.

She has been at Sodexo since 2019 where she was chief executive of its €700m corporate services and energy and resources segments for the UK and Ireland. During this time, Ennis led business initiatives including the launch of its workplace value proposition to clients across sectors including life sciences, tech, media and telecoms, and financial and professional services.

Ennis is a chartered banker and holds an MBA.

Guy Holden, managing director, advisory and transaction services, Europe at CBRE, said: “Julie joins us with decades of leadership experience, allowing her to truly understand the C-suite and their evolving business priorities. This, along with her notable professional accolades, including being awarded Image Magazine & PWC CEO of the Year at the 2022 Businesswoman of the Year Awards, makes her the ideal leader to propel our occupier growth strategy forward.”
