CBRE has appointed Guy Hurwood to lead its northern capital markets business as the company continues to expand this division in the region.
Hurwood will be based in the company’s office in Leeds.
He will be working with private investors, funds, public sector and international capital investments.
Hurwood previously spent six years in PwC’s real estate corporate finance team, most recently as leader of the firm’s real estate deals north team.
Before PwC, he spent five years at JLL.
Phil Cann, head of UK investment at CBRE, commented: “The northern markets are providing a great deal of opportunity and Guy’s extensive experience in real estate corporate finance will strengthen and broaden our capabilities in the region.”
