CBRE has recruited Cushman & Wakefield partner Tom Dancer as a senior director in its EMEA retail team.
Dancer joined Cushman as an intern in 2013, working his way up to partner in October last year.
In his new role, Dancer will work in the cross-border team, with a focus on advising retail brands on their real estate strategies across EMEA regions.
The appointment is the latest boost for CBRE’s retail ranks, following the hire of Richard Bashford from Fawcett Mead as a senior director, and its agreement to buy agency CWM.
David Close, executive director for EMEA retail at CBRE, said: “Tom has invaluable experience in cross-border retail and an extensive network of contacts, making him perfectly placed to join our EMEA retail team as we continue to build out our retail occupier business, advising international brands across the region.”
