CBRE Global Investors has named Berkshire Group boss Chuck Leitner as its new global chief executive, replacing Ritson Ferguson in the role.
Ferguson will continue to work at CBRE GI as chief executive of its real assets securities arm, CBRE Clarion Securities, which he co-founded in 1991.
Leitner has been president and chief executive of Berkshire since 2013. Before that, he was global chief executive of RREEF.
He will report to Daniel Queenan, global chief executive of CBRE’s real estate investments business division.
