CBRE GI appoints pair of directors

CBRE-Global-Investors-THUMB.jpegCBRE Global Investors has appointed two directors.

Klaus Kortebein will take the role of managing director for global key accounts for separate accounts and Harald Flöer will become director of portfolio management for German separate accounts.

Kortebein joined CBRE Global Investors in September 2014 as a senior adviser to set up a global separate account mandate for a German pension fund. He will now be responsible for creating business from institutional investors outside Europe by matching their needs with investment opportunities in EMEA.

Flöer joins from Aberdeen Asset Management where he was director of fund management.

Pieter Roozenboom, head of global separate accounts, said: “Investors need guidance from individuals with an institutional mindset coupled with long-standing multi-country transaction expertise. Klaus is a perfect fit, as he has represented investors’ capital and also personally deployed over €10bn into property globally.”
