Sophie van Oosterom has been promoted to chief investment officer at CBRE Global Investors
She will also become a member of the EMEA executive committee.
The promotion comes 18 months after she joined the firm as head of special programmes EMEA.
Her responsibilities will now include a focus on investment strategy, investment underwriting and performance management in the region. She will also chair the European investment committee.
Pieter Hendrikse, chief executive EMEA at CBRE GI, said: “Sophie’s leadership and strategic vision have secured the confidence of existing and new investors for the future of a number of our investment programs. She has firmly established her credentials to take on the demands of the role.”
