CBRE has hired Paul Surgeon as a director within its rating team to support the growth of the business line.
Surgeon joins from Montagu Evans’ Manchester office, where he was a founding member since 2014 and formed part of the leadership team for town centres and repurposing department stores. He specialises in providing strategic advice to large owners, developers and occupiers, having represented clients in both the private and public sectors.
Surgeon also operates across a range of sectors, including healthcare, where he has valued large hospitals for rating purposes. Prior to joining Montagu Evans, he worked for Lambert Smith Hampton.
Nick Marsden, head of the northern rating team at CBRE, said: “Paul will be an addition to our team and will continue to grow our northern business, providing exceptional advice to our clients.”
