Simon Jones has been appointed group property director of AIM-listed Barkby Group.
Jones joins Barkby – which owns coffee shops, pubs and automotive investments – from CBRE, where he was head of UK strategic asset management.
Prior to CBRE, Jones spent 15 years at Arrowcroft, working in both London and Liverpool in roles involving deal origination, acquisition and business plan delivery through development and asset management.
Jones said: “Barkby’s commercial property development business has been delivering consistent returns despite the considerable headwinds of the past two years, and I look forward to driving growth with a focus on sustainable investment and development real estate business.”
