CBRE has hired Jonathan Priestley from AXA Real Estate logistics platform Baytree Logistics Properties as a senior director in its UK industrial and logistics team.
Priestley formed part of a team of logistics specialists that set up the standalone industrial development platform in 2015, in a venture led by John Duggan.
He has also held roles at Gazeley and Siemens.
CBRE said Priestley would work closely with its UK national industrial advisory and transaction team in his new role to “spearhead growth of the occupier focus in the distribution sector”.
He specialises in advising occupiers, leasing, warehouse design, master planning, development and delivery.
During his career Priestley has arranged distribution deals in the UK, Europe and Asia across a range of occupiers including retailers, third-party logistics providers and manufacturers.
He also advises the UK Business Council for Sustainable Development.
