CBRE Capital Advisors has hired a new senior director and head of transaction advisory within its loan servicing team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Emily Fitzgerald joins from Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, where she was a London-based director in the global workout team, focused on loan recoveries, underwriting, credit analysis and deal execution.
At CBRE Capital Advisors, she will lead the transaction advisory team within loan services, including the special situations team, CMBS and NPL special servicing across the region. The firm’s loan servicing team in EMEA has more than £55bn of assets under management and manages 675 loans across Europe.
During her eight years at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, Fitzgerald’s team was responsible for assets under management of more than £200m and was involved in more than £12bn of deals across the UK, Europe and the US.
Earlier in her career she worked at Barclays Capital and BlackRock.
