CBRE hires three JLL directors to work on big-name corporate accounts

CB Richard Ellis has hired three senior directors from Jones Lang LaSalle to its corporate services team.

Alasdair Vaux, Tom Newton and Tim Harlow all join from JLL to work on CBRE’s corporate accounts, which include some of the world’s largest household brands.

The appointments follow a series of major corporate contract wins for CBRE.

This year, the agent has been awarded mandates to advise HSBC, British Airways, Microsoft and Premier Foods – all of which it fought against JLL to secure.

Vaux, who worked at JLL for 10 years, joins CBRE as senior director and will be the global alliance director for CBRE’s worldwide mandate with confectionary giant Nestle.

Newton joins CBRE as the global alliance director for the agent’s Barclays Capital account, overseeing the investment bank’s 10m sq ft property portfolio.

Harlow joins CBRE as head of portfolio services and accounts and will be responsible for supporting CBRE’s portfolio management for corporate clients. He has more than 25 years’ experience in corporate real estate.

Matthew Pullen, CBRE’s head of global corporate services for EMEA, said it was on track to renew major corporate contracts with all of its clients following an intensive year of contract renewals and tender processes.
