CBRE Global Investors has launched a £300m UK fund backed by professional services company Aon.
The open-ended fund will see CBRE invest in assets with long leases of at least 15 years.
It created the fund following an increase in demand from UK institutional investors for low-risk, low-volatility cash flows.
Michael Ness, head of UK for CBRE Global Investors, said: “We are pleased to launch a product that is competitively priced in the marketplace, and provides a solution for existing clients who wish to increase exposure to this strategy, as well as new clients of the business.”
The new fund will focus on assets with inflation-linked or fixed increases, which CBRE said would offer “a high degree of income security and inflation protection”.
