CBRE has launched a small capital markets team focused on deals valued at £10m and below.
In 2016, CBRE was involved in 207 deals, totalling £785m, in this size range.
PJ Thibault, executive director at CBRE and head of the portfolio and special situations team, will lead the team, which will include specialists in individual sectors and regions across the UK.
He said: “CBRE is known for transacting on large, high-profile lot sizes but is less associated with successes in small cap markets. The small caps team will provide a tailored, bespoke service to investors looking at these smaller transactions.”
