CBRE leads $125m VTS funding round

Technology platform VTS has secured $125m (£108m) in a Series E funding round led by CBRE, which is investing $100m.

The round, which is combined with $150m in debt financing, will unlock $275m in new capital. It also includes investment from BentallGreenOak, AmTrust, Brookfield Ventures and Insight Ventures.

The fundraise backs VTS’s technology as workers return to offices. Its platform is used to manage more than 12bn sq ft of office, retail and industrial space globally. In the UK, its platform is used in one-third of office space in central London including 100 Bishopsgate, EC2, Citypoint, EC2, and One New Change, EC4.

CBRE will also partner with VTS to roll out the platform among its agency leasing and property management teams.
