Microsoft has appointed CB Richard Ellis to oversee the management of its 30m sq ft global property portfolio.
Following a competitive pitch, which began in February, the computing giant has selected CBRE as its “global integrator” to lead the company’s regional real estate advisers across the globe.
Microsoft’s occupational estate is spread across 100 countries, with around 8m sq ft at its Redmond headquarters in Washington, US. The firm has around 6m sq ft in Europe.
Other agents, including Jones Lang LaSalle and Cushman & Wakefield, will continue to advise Microsoft on a regional basis.
