CBRE has appointed Mike Rowlands as an executive director in its national investment team to focus on private equity clients.
Rowlands joins from Hollis Hockley, where he has worked since 2020. Prior to that he was at BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker, where he was co-head of national markets, and prior to that, head of retail. He has more than 30 years of industry experience.
In his new role, Rowlands will be largely sector agnostic, working across the UK, with a primary focus on developing client relationships and new business opportunities. He will be working closely with Adrian McStay, head of national markets, James Delliere, head of national office investment, and Rhodri Davies, head of retail.
McStay said: “Mike’s extensive experience and client relationships, both in private equity and across institutional investors, will be invaluable as we look to deliver the full strength of CBRE’s capital markets service offering to our clients, regardless of what sector or geography they are interested in. There is a huge weight of capital looking to be deployed into UK real estate in the wake of the pandemic and we are confident that Mike’s expertise will be of huge value to our clients as we look to help them deliver their investment strategies.”
Rowlands said he was looking forward to “playing a key role in delivering and building on” CBRE’s capital markets offering.
