CBRE’s Dan Hanmer is moving within the company to head the Midtown and South Bank office leasing team.
The senior director in CBRE’s central London office leasing division will relocate from the City to Covent Garden WC2, where he will assume leadership of the 100-strong team.
Hanmer will take over the co-ordination of the team from Charlie Killen, executive director.
Killen sold his EA Shaw business to CBRE in November 2012, and will remain with the company.
Emma Crawford, managing director of central London leasing, CBRE, said: “It’s the logical next step for our CreativeLondon initiative, which Dan also leads, moving the team’s leadership to its natural home in Covent Garden and increasing the visibility of the bespoke service we bring to clients.”
Crawford added: “This move will enable Charlie Killen to hand over the day-to-day running of the office leasing team, allowing him to focus on leveraging his extensive experience, and respected position within the Midtown and South Bank markets to provide an increased depth of service to our clients.”
