David Kenningham, CBRE’s executive director of retail agency, has left the business after more than 24 years.
Kenningham, who suffered with illness last year, said: “I have made the difficult decision that now is the time to make a change in my career and work independently so that I can spend more time with my family and achieve a better work/life balance.”
He joined CBRE via its £28.5m acquisition of specialist retail firm Dalgleish in 2005. Kenningham was one of 12 shareholders in the business.
During his career, Kenningham has advised on a number of high-profile retail deals and was best known for its knowledge of Oxford Street.
