CBRE has said predictions that hybrid working strategies would dent office demand have been disproven by a rise in central London lettings.
Simon Brown, CBRE head of office research, said a “surge in demand” had “clearly [challenged]” a narrative that lettings would drop as a result of post-pandemic strategies.
The agency said take-up over the 12 months to the end of June stood at 12.7m sq ft, up 5% on the 10-year average.
