The Great Property Bike Ride, hosted by CBRE, is back for the third year running, on 24 June at Sandown Park Racecourse, Surrey, to raise vital funds for CBRE’s UK charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society. With three distances to choose from (44km, 71km or 123km), everyone is welcome to take part. The day promises stunning views, camaraderie amongst riders and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
All riders are asked to raise a minimum of £150 for Alzheimer’s Society. The fundraising will help support essential services for those impacted by dementia, helping to provide help and hope for those affected.
Ciaran Bird, divisional president, advisory services, and chief executive for UK and Ireland, said: “The Great Property Bike Ride is our flagship UK charity event and for me personally, marks one of my favourite industry-wide events. Last year we welcomed over 650 riders from over 250 businesses across the property industry to take part. We hope that this year we keep up the fantastic momentum, and continue to raise money for our very worthy charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society. Good luck to all the riders taking part, and a big thank you to our Platinum sponsor Rothesay, and Gold sponsor McLaren Property, as well as our media partner, Estates Gazette.”
Harish Haridas, Rothesay’s head of commercial real estate, said: “Rothesay is proud to sponsor this year’s Great Property Bike Ride, which brings together professionals from across the UK’s property industry to support the incredible work of the Alzheimer’s Society. Through the Ride, we will raise vital funds for the Society’s research into dementia and the support services it provides to people and families affected by the disease, helping them to live their lives with dignity and security.”
John Gatley, chief executive of McLaren Property, said: “We are really proud to once again support the CBRE Great Property Bike Ride as a gold sponsor, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society. It’s a fantastic industry event for a very worthwhile cause, the team can’t wait to take part and the training and fundraising is underway.”
