Emma Crawford has resigned from her role as head of London leasing at CBRE after nearly 15 years at the agent.

Crawford had also been a member of CBRE’s UK management board since March last year.

A spokesperson for the property services firm said: “CBRE can confirm that Emma Crawford… has resigned from the company to fulfil a long-held ambition to start her own property company.”

Crawford joined CBRE in 2004 as head of its West End and Midtown leasing, before being promoted in 2014 to head up its London leasing team.

Prior to CBRE, she was an associate partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s City agency team.

Recently, she had been advising developers such as Great Portland Estates on its 170,000 sq ft Hanover Square, W1, scheme and Derwent London on the leasing of its Paddington project, the Brunel Building, W2.

Her departure follows a rejig of the London investment teams at CBRE which has seen Ed Bradley and Richard Garside promoted to head up the West End and City teams respectively.

Adam Hetherington, managing director, London at CBRE, said: “Emma has been a valued colleague and has made a great contribution to our business over many years, and we wish her all the very best for the future.”
