Franco Sidoli, executive director of CBRE and one of the UK’s best-known agents, has chosen to continue working at the firm following the release of his “golden handcuffs”.
Sidoli sold his niche consultancy, Franc Warwick, to the company in 2012 and the initial terms of his agreement expired at the end of 2015. CBRE and Sidoli are now close to agreeing a new, full-time deal that has no definite timeframe or expiry.
“I have loved my time at CBRE. It has been fantastic for them and for me. Why would I want to work anywhere else? It will be business as usual and there will be no finite timeframe,” Sidoli said.
The news comes in the same week that CBRE bulked up its UK capital markets team by recruiting PJ Thibault as an executive director from Cushman & Wakefield.
Thibault spent 14 years at C&W where he was head of UK business space capital markets and specialised in advising US private equity groups and family offices.
