CC Land, the Chinese property developer, is in the process of establishing an office in Mayfair in which to base a small number of employees as it looks to add to its holdings of London properties.
Deputy chairman Dickie Wong said that the trend of Chinese companies buying up properties in the capital is set to continue because of the weaker pound. CC Land is looking at buying buildings, but is only interested in London, he said.
The company is in talks to participate in a large, housing-led development in London.
