Colliers CRE (CCRE) this week confirmed that it had appointed Nick Ridley as head of West End agency.
As first revealed by Estates Gazette (21 June 2003), Ridley, who left CB Hillier Parker (CBHP) in April, will begin work at Colliers in September.
He has 23 years’ experience in the industry and before becoming head of CBHP’s central London division was at Healey & Baker.
CCRE managing director David Izett said: “We are delighted that Nick has chosen to join us and with him leading the team we are confident of significantly increasing our book of business and strengthening our presence in the West End.
“Even though the West End office leasing agency market is quiet at the moment, it obviously remains an important one for us and we’re in it for the long-term.”
Ridley added: “The experience of having run a central London team showed both upsides and downsides of structure and effectiveness – and the benefit of that experience will be invaluable in bringing people together to create a strong force in central London for Colliers CRE.”
