Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton is in talks with Land Securities over opening a pizzeria at Nova Victoria, SW1.
The Pollen Street Social chef, who last week launched his 14th restaurant, City Social, at Tower 42, EC2, said talks ?were at an early stage but he hoped to open a restaurant at the 897,000 sq ft development in 2017.
Atherton said: “It’s a dream project, but I am hoping it might come together by 2017 and I am obsessed with doing something around pizza at the moment. Nova means that Victoria is very exciting now.”
Land Securities said it had held conversations with Atherton and a number of other restaurateurs about opportunities in Victoria.
Atherton added that he was also searching for a site for his first hotel.
“I am on the lookout for something in maybe Clerkenwell or Shoreditch, between 25,000 and 35,000 sq ft, with enough space for over 50 bedrooms, a bar and a couple of restaurants,” he said.
