Center Parcs’ plans for a new holiday village in West Sussex have been met with howls of outrage from conservationists.
Former Number 10 advisor Lord Randall said the plans were “depressing”, as the woodland site is the home to protected birds.
Extinction Rebellion said: “If we understand this correctly, Center Parcs are excited to commit ecocide.”
The £400m development on 553 acres of woodland will be the Brookfield-owned outfits’ sixth site in the UK.
