Manchester City Council has given the green light to Central and Urban for the development of 359 build-to-rent flats on a one-acre site near Piccadilly station.
The decision was made in line with the planning officer’s recommendation last week.
The flats will range in size from one to three bedrooms and will be set across two buildings of 10 and 28 storeys.
Designed by SimpsonHaugh, the proposals also include 7,309 sq ft of amenity space, two residents’ gardens on the first and 10th floors, five townhouses and parking for 359 bikes.
Deloitte advised on planning matters.
