Chancerygate and Bridges get thumbs up for £36m logistics hub
Chancerygate and Bridges Fund Management have secured planning permission to deliver a £36m logistics scheme in Adlington, Cheshire.
The 170,000 sq ft grade-A sustainable scheme comprises 11 facilities ranging from 7,000 sq ft to 29,000 sq ft. Each facility will target an EPC rating of A+ and BREEAM Excellent and will feature electric vehicle charging points along with solar photovoltaic cells.
The scheme, known as Avro Business Park, is located on a 7.8-acre site off London Road, south of Poynton town centre, and adjacent to Adlington Business Park and Adlington Industrial Estate.

The scheme, known as Avro Business Park, is located on a 7.8-acre site off London Road, south of Poynton town centre, and adjacent to Adlington Business Park and Adlington Industrial Estate.
Neighbouring occupiers include confectionery manufacturer Swizzels, tray sealing and packaging line specialist Proseal, and transport company William Kirk.
Construction will start in October this year, with completion expected in October 2025.
Chris Brown, development director at Chancerygate, said: “The area is witnessing an increasing shift to ESG-led developments, from both the occupational and investor market.”
