Chancerygate buys Cheshire site for spec scheme

Industrial developer Chancerygate has bought 16 acres of development land at Parkgate Industrial Estate in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Chancerygate said it had 300,000 sq ft of developments for a range of national and local businesses planned for the site.

The first phase of the speculative development will provide about 85,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse space, which the company said will accommodate a “wide spectrum of end users”.

It bought the site for an undisclosed price from Oliver Valves, a manufacturer of instrumentation, subsea and pipeline valves for the global energy sectors.

The project will add to Chancerygate’s UK development pipeline of around 2.2m sq ft.

Gerald Eve represented Oliver Valves; Chancerygate was advised by Williams Sillitoe.
