Chancerygate seals five deals at Genesis Park

Five transactions have taken place at Chancerygate’s Genesis Park in South Wigston, near Leicester, including a 6,000 sq ft letting to healthcare automation solutions provider Deenova.

The 128,180 sq ft Genesis Park comprises 15 urban logistics units of between 4,800 sq ft and 18,570 sq ft and has a gross development value in excess of £23m.

Deenova has signed a 15-year lease on the unit, which has been sold to Sandpiper Formulations Pension Scheme for an undisclosed sum.

Unit 5, which has been let to healthcare company Fresenius Medical Care, has been acquired by Key West Holdings.

Two further units have recently been sold to owner occupiers at Genesis Park. Unit 1, which extends to 9,000 sq ft, has been sold to Personal Homecare Pharmacy, and the 10,000 sq ft Unit 15 has been sold to F2 Medical Pension Scheme.

Five of the units at Genesis Park have now been either let or sold, and the 6,750 sq ft unit 11 has been placed under offer on a freehold basis.

Mattthew Connor, senior development director at Chancerygate, said: “We have experienced a sustained high level of interest in the development and there is strong interest from occupiers in the medical sector given the scheme’s close proximity to Leicester Hospital.”

The agents for the scheme are Sutton Phillips, Avison Young and JLL.
