Barclays head of structured property finance, Richard Payne, is to become a consultant at the bank. He will be replaced by Sharon Quinlan from Bank of Ireland.
Quinlan, who is head of challenged business at BoI, is expected to join the UK lender on 17 April. It will be her second stint at the bank, having worked there for 12 years as a director of property finance and also in UK origination for the real estate finance group, before moving to BoI in 2006.
She will report to Dennis Watson in the debt finance division, as will Payne, who has been at the bank for more than 35 years.
