Channel 4 has taken space at the £400m St Michael’s scheme in Manchester from Gary Neville’s Relentless Developments.
The broadcaster has signed for 12,293 sq ft at No.1 St Michael’s, taking the remaining half of the eighth floor. Pinsent Masons will occupy the other half, having signed a prelet for one-and-a-half floors. At the time of that deal, Pinsent Masons set a new record for Manchester office rents at £43 per sq ft.
Neville described his latest tenant as having “a strong reputation for bold and creative content”, adding: “It justifiably joins the portfolio of highly-renowned brands here at St Michael’s.”
He continued: “Concluding the office lettings has seen us break the city’s rental record no less than three times, which is a huge achievement. We are now focused on final negotiations for the remaining F&B unit, which will see us reach fully let status.”
