Pam Chapman, director of asset management at NHS Property Services, is leaving to return to the Department of Health.

Her secondment with NHS Property Services started in 2012, soon after the company’s inception, and ends on 30 November.

In her new role, Chapman will be managing residual secretary of state-owned property and supporting the Department of Health in managing its estate.

Chapman said: “It has been a difficult decision to return to the Department of Health, but this is not too far away and I am delighted that in my new role I can maintain my keen interest in NHS Property Services.”

An interim appointment will be made to the role and formal recruitment is expected in the new year.
