Aviva snatched a 4-0 victory over First Urban in the inaugural Allsop Charity Football Festival, held in Islington.
Twelve teams competed in the contest, which raise £5,000 for the JBVC Foundation, an organisation that works with young people involved in street gangs.
The competition saw Aviva (pictured) triumph in the final, with a 4-0 victory over First Urban. Workspace beat Derwent in the plate competition.
The competing teams included Aviva, Workspace, CBRE Global Investors, Derwent, Telereal Trillium, Prideview, First Urban, M7, MHA and Create Design.
Farebrother duo battle it out in ‘Tour de Midtown’ for LandAid
Colleagues from Farebrother went head-to-head in a static bike ride challenge and raised nearly £2,000 for LandAid. The two competing teams, led by Jack Williamson and Ben Fisher, battled it out in the ‘Tour de Midtown’ for the fastest to cycle 110 miles.
The teams cycled a total distance of 220 miles in one day, marking the 220th anniversary of the firm. In a close finish, team Williamson prevailed, completing 110 miles in 4 hours 38 minutes.
London Frontrunners teams up with Allsop for Pride Run 10K
The 16th annual Pride Run 10K takes place on 10 August at London’s Victoria Park. Sponsored by Allsop, the event, which has been organised by the London Frontrunners, an LGBT+ running club, welcomes runners of all backgrounds and abilities. To take part, visit: https://priderun10k.org
Wildgoose shines a light on Sleetmoor United’s new football pitch
Wildgoose Construction provided its business expertise to local football team Sleetmoor United through its application for a grant from the Football Foundation.
The grant, of more than £1m, will help the grassroots Derbyshire club fund the construction of a floodlit 4G football pitch, new changing facilities, a community hall and other spaces. Wildgoose supported the application with construction and environmental impact reports.
Crest Nicholson supports Quest Riding for the Disabled
Crest Nicholson Regeneration is supporting local Surrey charity Quest Riding for the Disabled with a donation of £3,000 towards its annual sponsored ride event at Bisley & Sandown Chase Pony Club.
The money raised will fund sporting and therapeutic equestrian programmes for children, adults and volunteers.
Make strides in Steptober’s second annual challenge
Steptober, the property industry-wide step challenge, is back for its second year. Powered by M7 Real Estate, the event will see more than 500 property professionals stepping up to help end youth homelessness.
Teams of four will pit themselves against their peers, competing to take the most steps throughout the month of October. The event will kick off with themed activities across the UK on 1 October, LandAid Day.

Coast-to-Coast with Sq. One Real Estate
Jamie Gunnin, one of the founding partners of London residential consultancy Sq. One Real Estate, and his wife Becky have finished the Coast-to-Coast walk and raised more than £20,000 for the Royal Marsden cancer charity.
The duo completed the iconic 190-mile challenge across England via the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors in seven days.

Bruton Knowles pedals 250 miles for Cancer Research UK
A team of cyclists from Bruton Knowles’ Nottingham office has raised £1,350 for Cancer Research UK in a collective 250-mile bike ride at Cycle Live Nottingham. The challenge is part of the firm’s campaign to raise £30,000 across its 12 offices over two years for the charity.
Nolan Redshaw teams up with ex-army buddies for the MS Society
Mike Redshaw, director of Manchester’s Nolan Redshaw, and two ex-army colleagues have donned their running shoes for charity in the Castle Howard Half Marathon, in North Yorkshire, and raised nearly £4,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in the process.
