The 2020 Property Prokart Challenge is back. In association with Daytona Racing, the event takes place on 18 September at its track in Milton Keynes.

Teams of up to 10 drivers will get the chance to race Daytona’s Sodi RT8 karts round the international circuit and compete in the F1 Pit Stop.

The event property partners Cowell Group and London & District Housing, alongside media partner EG, will be raising money for blood cancer charity, Myeloma UK.

LandAid QuaranTEN tops £93k to end youth homelessness

The LandAid QuaranTEN has broken its target to raise £50,000 for LandAid’s mission to end youth homelessness.

Over 750 participants have now walked 10,000 steps, ran 10 kilometres or ran 10 miles over the past week in the virtual event which replaced the annual LandAid 10K.

The event was sponsored by Evans Randall Investors, which was the headline sponsor, as well as Caddick Group, DLA Piper, Paragon and Stride Treglown. Siren Design provided pro bono design support.

Paul Morrish, LandAid chief executive, said: “LandAid has been astounded by the support and enthusiasm of the real estate industry in this difficult time. Not only have they stood up to raise nearly £1m to help charities through Covid-19 with our emergency appeal but they have proved, through walking, running and jogging for LandAid that they are with us for the future.

“We need to provide long-term, safe, secure and affordable accommodation for thousands of young people. LandAid remains committed to its mission to end youth homelessness, but it is only with the industry that we can achieve this.”

The new space is on SEGRO’s Acton Estate in West London, where City Harvest has an existing facility.
