A hand-illustrated map of Soho has been produced by graphic designers at Barton Willmore in Soho to raise money for homeless charity Centrepoint.
The map was designed in conjunction with Leslie Hardcastle OBE, a retired controller of the BFI Southbank and founder member of the Soho Housing Association.

Annual dinner raises £1m for former Royal Marines
The Royal Marines charity annual dinner has raised nearly £1m to help former servicemen and women.
Now in its fourth year, the dinner, sponsored by Patron Capital, was held at London’s Guildhall and featured a live auction conducted by Lord Jeffrey Archer and music from the Bands of HM Royal Marines, as well as speeches and visuals highlighting the work of the charity.
Since 2010, Patron Capital has raised more than £2.5m for the Royal Marines charity and has provided mentoring, work experience and business introductions to veterans who are rebuilding their lives following active service.
Alfriston performing arts centre gets boost from Inland Homes
Beaconsfield-based housebuilder Inland Homes has donated £50,000 to local specialist girls’ school Alfriston. The cheque presented by Inland Homes chief executive Stephen Wicks will go towards helping the school reach its £500,000 fundraising target to finance the building and outfitting of a new performing arts centre.
Art raises £50,000 for humanitarian charity
More than 300 professionals from the world of architecture, property and construction have helped raise more than £50,000 for the humanitarian architecture charity Article 25. At the charity’s annual 10×10 art auction, bids were placed on work by artists Sir Antony Gormley OBE, James Hart Dyke and Alberto Giacometti. The money raised will help fund the provision of shelter to vulnerable communities across the developing world.
Shanly Homes hands £500,000 to tree project
Shanly Homes has donated more than £500,000 to the Woodland Trust, its charitable partner since 2011. The monetary donation equates to 32,000 trees planted over eight years. To celebrate the developer’s 50th year, 15 staff members took part in planting 750 trees in Tring Park, Buckinghamshire, where the Woodland Trust is extending the park to create additional habitats for wildlife.
Landbay supports homeless charity
Landbay has announced its partnership with the Cardinal Hume Centre in Westminster to support local people facing homelessness and poverty. The buy-to-let mortgage lender will donate £10 to the centre for every mortgage completion.
