Knight Frank’s Day of Giving initiative raised more than £400,000 across its global network.

The Eastern division of Housebuilder Redrow raised £54,000 for the J’s Hospice, which supports young adults in Essex with life limiting conditions.
In Scotland, DM Hall presented its charity partners Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer Scotland with £17,400 funding.
The firm anticipates a greater donation total this year, with its fundraising charity ball lining up to be one of its highlights.
SEGRO’s London Community Fund, which works in partnership with the London Community Foundation, supported 18 London community projects, providing £85,000 financial support to initiatives and helping improve more than 1,000 vulnerable individuals’ lives. The firm invited charities and organisations to apply for funding in areas where they operate, with a focus on improving the skills, education and job prospects of the local community.
Dressing to impress for Burne’s legacy
Friends, colleagues and associates of former AEW Architects managing director Steve Burne will take part in a superhero fancy dress charity walk on 18 February in aid of the “Steve Burne Rooms”.
The walk is one of many events the North West property community are getting involved in to help Burne, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the end of last year, raise £250,000 for the Steve Burne Rooms at the Ronald McDonald House.
A longstanding chair of the Ronald McDonald children’s cancer charity, Burne’s aim is to fund the conversion of three spaces in the house to support families with ill or terminally ill children.
He said: “I had made it my intention to deliver these rooms as part of my legacy to the house and was honoured at being told they would be in my name.
“If we can achieve this target it will help many more families for years to come.”
