PropSki kicked off with EG’s networking drinks in Tignes Le Lac on Saturday, with 300 attendees descending on the French commune.
Attendees were treated to gourmet hot dogs and drinks from Meantime Brewery.
Excitement for the week ahead built as the agenda was laid out, including the Paragon mountain meal in the resort’s famous Panoramic restaurant, the McDonald & Company race day and the Aston Rose ski tour.
Those who resisted the temptation to party late into the night and turned in at a reasonable time were able to get up early on Sunday and enjoy the best skiing conditions of the week.
Those who did not were able to familiarise themselves with the trip’s spiritual home for the week in the notorious Loop bar.
JLL staff put general knowledge to the test
The brain power of JLL’s staff has raised £10,000 for charity partner Crisis at its annual quiz night.
Held at its Canary Wharf offices, it was the single largest amount raised by the firm in one event since the quiz began nine years ago.
The fundraising efforts were not limited to the London office. A company-wide raffle was held in the Manchester, Leeds, Norwich and Edinburgh offices, with all funds contributing to the event’s total.
Money raised will go towards the firm’s two-year goal to raise more than £600,000 to help Crisis eradicate homelessness in the UK and support individuals now rebuilding their lives.

Grants of up to £10,000 were awarded to Thorney Parish Council, Sawtry & District Bowling Club, Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust, Donington Parish Council, Families First Peterborough CIC, Moulton Chapel Youth & Community Centre and Somerset Sight.
Larkfleet chief executive Karl Hick said: “These groups are often the backbone of the community and the support which the winners of this round of funding offer to the people who use their services is immeasurable.”
