Chelsfield announced interim pre-tax profits up from £4.3m to £6m. It said two mall extensions totalling 11,148 sq m (120,000 sq ft) had been fully let at the Merry Hill shopping centre in the West Midlands. This will add £22m to the annual income.
The company is waiting for the Environment Secretary’s decision on whether it can add a further 41,805 sq m (450,000 sq ft) of space at Merry Hill.
