Cheshire’s Living Room bar concept plans UK expansion

Cheshire-based bar concept The Living Room is to expand across the UK, with as many as 25 sites in the next four years.

The plans were unveiled as the Living Room opened its sixth site, in Nottingham. Further deals are close to completion in Leeds and Chester.

The Living Room bar concept, independently owned by leisure entrepreneur Tim Bacon, began life on Manchester’s Deansgate aiming to create the feel of an upbeat Manhattan lounge, with cocktails and live music.

Bacon said: “Our flagship Manchester bar has been a phenomenal success and we know the concept works in other major cities. Quality of venue is vital to its success and we are careful about the kind of site that we will take on.”

The Living Room’s requirement is for a ground floor area of 3,498 sq ft (325 sq m). Living Ventures is advised by Jeremy Rubin & Co.
